Exchanging on Tumblr
It is fairly easy to add stuff to Tumblr. You have full control over the code on your Tumblr pages, so you can put anything you want there and
have it just the way you want.
If you do not have an ad unit yet. (These are the ones that generate credits for you by showing other people ads on your webpages.) Click
Get A New Ad Unit and enter a name and a description. Other people can see
the name of your Ad Unit, so you should put something practical in there. For an example you could use your blogs name as the name for
the Ad Unit. In the description field, you can enter anything. If you have a website and put the ad unit on your front page, you could
enter "front page" in the description field. You could also enter "I love airplanes!!!" if you want to. Further down, there is Ad Type and
Search Method. You don't need to set these, but later they could be usefull if you want to show a certain kind of advertisement and earn
credits faster.

When you submit to get your new Ad Unit, you will see this page. Here, you can change settings and block Ads from being shown in the
ad unit. In the top there is a box with code. You can Copy this code and Paste it to your Tumblr to put the ad unit there.
If you know about ad units already, continue here.

The easy way of adding to Tumblr is by pasting the code directly to your description. This is practical if you like to switch themes often or if you
don't know a lot about tumblr themes or HTML. However, it is harder to make it look exactly like you want it or have the ad unit in the place you want it
to be.

To get more control, you can edit the theme of your tumblr page and add the code wherever you want the ad unit to be. The theme code is often confusing
and a mess, but you don't have to make your own theme to edit it. You can edit the theme you already have and just add in the code somewhere. Just make
sure that you don't accidentally add the code twice as this will make it look weird and is not allowed.
